Personal

  • Born in London, England. August 4, 1956.
  • Raised in Tallahassee, Florida and attended Florida High School - Class of 1974.
  • Married the late Leisa James in 1980 (FSU 1980). Moved to Ocala, Florida in 1985 after Leisa died.
  • Married Michele Stoltzfus in 1987. We have three children: Amanda, Erin and Tyler. Also, three grandchildren: Hannah, Cameron, and Barrett.

  • Attended Central Florida Community College, Ocala, Florida 1974-75 .
    • Attended on a baseball scholarship.
  • Graduate of Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida 1978.
    • Lettered in Baseball 1977-78.
  • Graduate of University of Florida, College of Dentistry 1981.
    • President of American Student Dental Assoc. 1980-81.
    • Member Psi Omega Dental Fraternity.
  • Practicing Dentistry since December, 1981 in Gainesville and Ocala.
  • Private General Practice in presend location since 1987.
  • Attended Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, 2003, 2004, and 2005.

Angela - Office Administrator/Dental Assistant

Angela enjoys working in the field of Dentistry and has for the past 8 years. Angela began her career in the field with an entry level opening in an Orthodontic practice. Helping people smile was so rewarding that she knew that the art and science of Dentistry had lured her and that she had found her niche.

Angela attended the University of Florida school of Dentistry where she received her radiology certificate. She then went on to study Dental office Management at Central Florida Community College where she is currently seeking her degree in Hygiene and plans to further her studies in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry. Angela has attended several continuing course to keep her abreast on the latest technology that Dentistry has available, including participating in such programs as "Dental Boot-Kamp" as well as classes offered at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada - during a recent attendance Angela was honored to assist Dr. Brooks with the completion of a beautiful full mouth "smile makeover" of yet another pleased patient.

Angela has lived in Ocala for 22 years. She is a mother of one. Angela enjoys seeing her little girl smile and feels great pride each time she helps a patient to do the same.

Cynthia - RDH/Office Assistant

Cindy has worked in the dental profession for 18 years, first as an assistant and then after obtaining her degree as a registered dental hygienist she has since fine-tuned her skills for the past 12 years.

Cindy has frequented numerous continuing education classes. In addition to mandated requirements, Cindy has attended such courses as "Dental BootKamp", and several periodontal seminars all to assist with furthering her knowledge in the field she feels so passionately about.

Cindy is a single mom of three busy boys. Cindy works hard and stays continuously active keeping up with her children as well as her career.


Nartarlie - RDH/Office Assistant

 Nartarlie, worked for six years previous to Hygiene School as a Dental Assistant. It was then she found her love of the Dental field. Nartarlie continued on to graduate from Sante Fe' Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene.

Now a Registered Dental Hygienist, Nartarlie has been a valued team member with Dr. Kevin Brooks for almost 3 years.

Nartarlie is married with three boys at home, who keep her as busy as the day is long!

Ambeur - Dental Assistant

Ambeur has been a certified Dental Assistant for 6 years. Ambeur began her care by attending Dental Careers Foundation located in Indianapolis, Indiana. She then continued her education at the University of Florida where she finalized her certification in Dental Assisting and Radiology.

Ambeur attends numerous continuing education courses to keep her abreast on the latest Dentistry has to offer.

Ambeur has two adorable little girls whom occupy most if any free time. She wouldn't have it any other way.
